}} Lynda Aguirre Thomas (born on December 21, 1981)〔 is a retired Mexican Eurodance〔 and alternative rock〔 musician, singer and songwriter who first rose to fame in 1989;〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Lynda Artist Biography by Drago Bonacich )〕 during the 1990s and the early 2000s she earned widespread recognition and commercial success in Ibero-America and Continental Europe;〔 later in 2002, Thomas suddenly left the music scene and public life altogether, right after finishing recording her new world beat-experimental rock album which was scheduled for worldwide release in four different languages; finally the album never came out due to a legal resolution and her consequent retirement. In 1994, after her departure from Melody, Thomas signed with EMI Capitol a seven-album recording contract (including a live album); a few months later by the age of 13, Thomas finished recording her first major-label album, delayed since 1990. In 1997, by the age of 15, Thomas was recognized by the TV networks and press as "The first and most important teenage performer (from the 1990s) who despite her young age, has a long musical career"; this happened two years before the beginning of the worldwide revival of teen music in the late 1990s.〔〔〔〔〔 Thomas was formerly known professionally as Lynda. She was an anonymous humanitarian and animal rights activist, furthermore, she was against substance addictions and human trafficking.〔〔 Thomas was also a songwriter and record producer for other singers, bands and TV shows.〔〔 The musician was an advocate for women's rights, she stated "Being brave is better than being a feminist".〔 She was also a fashion house model.〔 Throughout her musical career, Thomas kept a low profile, away from media scandals.〔 The musician released between 1989 and 2002 more than 30 singles; Thomas mostly promoted her music through radio airplay and promotional tours, instead of music videos.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=The EuroDance Encyclopaedia-Lynda Thomas(Mexico)-EuroDance Group )〕 During the 1990s, the musician stated, "A real artist takes risks and evolves". Later, shortly before her retirement, Thomas stated, "I'm not a puppet, I will not put tattoos on my body, nor will I undress myself to sell more records"; "I make music following my firm convictions, I will not allow any imposition, I don't want to be a diva; I'm emotionally prepared, in case the mainstream audience forget me".〔 On July 14, 2003, after one-year absence, Thomas announced she was facing a long legal battle against EMI and Televisa, therefore the release in the United States and Canada of her new experimental album will be handled by Interscope Geffen A&M Records; finally due to a legal resolution her contract with the new label and the album release were cancelled. As of 2015, it has been the last public appearance of the musician.〔 There is no further information about the residence and personal life of Thomas. ==Early life== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Lynda Thomas」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
